    About the role

    At West Northants Council, it’s about our people and the positive impact they make every day. As an Enforcement and Monitoring Officer (Building Safety Levy), you’ll play an important role in shaping and supporting sustainable development across the area. Working within our Planning Enforcement and Monitoring team, you’ll help ensure that development is delivered in line with approved plans, policies and regulations, while maintaining a high-quality, customer-focused service. This is an opportunity to work on a varied caseload, contribute to key development priorities and support the delivery of infrastructure that helps our communities thrive.

    You’re a proactive and organised individual with an interest in planning, building, development and regulatory work. You’re confident analysing information, interpreting plans or legislation and making sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. You’re comfortable managing your own workload, prioritising tasks and working both independently and as part of a team.
