About the role
We’re looking for a motivated Estates Surveyor to help manage and enhance the Council’s diverse land and property portfolio. You’ll deliver a professional, efficient estates service—handling lettings and landlord/tenant matters, negotiating rent reviews and lease renewals, carrying out valuations and inspections, instructing Legal on transactions, and contributing to our disposals programme. You’ll also respond to property enquiries from residents, tenants, Council Members and colleagues.
Key responsibilities

<li>Inspections and valuations for insurance, condition and compliance, including schedules and inventories.</li>

When not providing direct support, you will assist our Casework Administration team with non-urgent administrative tasks. It is essential that your working hours align with those of the individual you will be supporting; therefore, this position is offered as a full-time role only.
