Location: Anstey Frith House, Leicester, LE3 8RN

Working Pattern: Night shifts. Part-time hours (up to 12 hours per week) and bank positions available

Salary: Band 2, £24,853 per annum (pro rata)

At DHU Healthcare, every role matters. Because every moment gives us the chance to make the difference – for patients, colleagues and communities. Wherever you join us, your compassion, commitment and skills will not only make all the difference in the moment today but also shape the care we deliver tomorrow.

With us, care never stops.

At DHU Healthcare, our Urgent and Community Care teams support patients where it matters most - in their homes and local communities. Working across Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland, we play a key role in helping people stay well, recover safely and live with dignity every day. Our teams of skilled nurses, healthcare assistants, allied health professionals and support colleagues work together to provide patient-centred care, respond quickly when needs arise, and deliver compassionate support to those who rely on us. From wound management and catheter care to observations, medication support and wellbeing monitoring, we’re here to make every visit count. With us, you’ll be part of a team that values development, recognises contribution, and supports you to grow - in your skills, your confidence and your career.

As a Community Healthcare Assistant, you’ll provide hands-on care under the guidance of our Community Nursing team - helping to deliver personalised treatment, record vital signs, support with clinical tasks, promote wellbeing and ensure equipment is ready for use on the move. You’ll work independently in the community while knowing you’re never alone, supported by experienced colleagues who share your commitment to outstanding care.

For you, because great care starts with a supported team.

We’ll support your health, happiness and future with benefits that put you first:

  • Access to the NHS pension scheme (we’ll also honour your existing NHS pension pot and holiday entitlement if you’re transferring)
  • Wellbeing support
  • Flexible working options
  • Career growth and development opportunities

For more information of the full range of benefits available, please reach out to our team.

For you, the support to go further.

With us, development is part of our culture. From essential training and apprenticeships to supportive leadership and career pathways, we’ll help you grow in ways that matter to you. Because when our people thrive, so do our patients and communities.

For you, a place where you can be yourself.

We believe that when everyone feels valued, respected and supported, we can deliver the best care. We’re proud to reflect the rich diversity of the communities we serve, welcoming colleagues from all backgrounds. We proudly support Veterans, Service Leavers, Reservists, Cadet Volunteers, and military families, valuing their strength and dedication.

At DHU Healthcare, your skills, ideas and growth matter.

Join us and be part of something bigger.
