A vital part of this is ensuring we are a truly inclusive organisation that encourages diversity in all respects, including diversity of thinking. We particularly welcome applicants from minority ethnic, LGBT+, disabled and neurodiverse communities to make a real difference to our residents so that equity and respect remains at the heart of everything we do.

Our Values are:

We value diverse perspectives and experiences and are striving to create a workplace culture that is inclusive, is accepting of all and is free from discrimination and bias.

Working alongside our dedicated team you will provide personal, practical, emotional, and social support to individuals, enabling them to have a great quality of life as important and valued members of the local community.

This is a “hands-on” role in which no two days are the same. You will, therefore, need to be physically fit, have a flexible, patient, and non-judgmental approach to your work, and be able to demonstrate and adapt excellent communication skills.

We have permanent & temporary day posts that have fixed hours/shifts. You will need to work earlies, lates, and alternative weekends based on a rota. You will be required to work between the hours of 7.00 am and 10.00 pm.

This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS
