Are you passionate about shaping skills and careers while responding directly to real workforce needs? Join a high‑performing team delivering top‑ranked apprenticeship programmes and making a genuine impact across key sectors.

Are you looking for a dynamic role where you can lead, innovate and collaborate every day? Help design and deliver responsive learning that supports people into employment, career progression and new opportunities.

About the Role

The Learning Development and Delivery Co‑ordinator will play a key role in shaping and delivering a high‑quality curriculum, with a focus on apprenticeships and work‑based learning.

The team will maintain a strong focus on addressing identified skills shortages, with provision aligned to priority sectors including Health, Public Services and Care; Education and Training; and Business, Administration and Law.

The Adult Learning Service will continue to build on its excellent track record in apprenticeship delivery, with consistently high success rates and strong national performance. In several programme areas, outcomes will remain among the highest on the apprenticeship service, and this role will be central to sustaining and enhancing these standards.

Working alongside two other Learning and Development Co‑ordinators, the postholder will contribute to a coordinated and consistent approach across the service. Together, the team will develop a curriculum that integrates vocational training, employability skills and clear progression pathways, supporting learners into employment, career progression or further study through flexible, responsive learning routes.

The role will include managing and supporting delivery staff, including Trainer Assessors and Tutors, through line management, performance review and observation of teaching and learning. By providing coaching, mentoring and development opportunities, the postholder will ensure high‑quality teaching, assessment and learner support, while also contributing to staff recruitment and workforce development.

The Co‑ordinator will support quality assurance and continuous improvement across a range of programmes, ensuring compliance with funding and awarding requirements. The role will also support the full learner journey, from initial assessment and enrolment through to achievement and progression, and will contribute to the development of high‑quality learning resources.

In addition, the role will involve coordinating resources and delivering learning, where required, across multiple locations. The postholder will be expected to work flexibly, contribute to service priorities and ensure learners benefit from a responsive, high‑quality learning experience that supports positive outcomes and long‑term employability.

Applicants are encouraged to view our website. Please search ‘Go Learn Apprenticeships’.

An enhanced with barred list DBS check is required for this post.
