About the rolePurpose of the job To assess and take the requisite action in relation to licensing applications and to undertake compliance and enforcement activities and actions in accordance with law, statutory guidance, codes of practice and policy to ensure the Council meets its statutory obligations. Sefton Council is seeking to recruit a fixed term Data Analyst for two years to join its central Business Intelligence &amp; Performance Team, supporting data analysis and reporting for the Adult Social Care service.
Technical experience and practical ability to analyse and report data using MS Excel, T-SQL, and Microsoft Power BI, are pre-requisite essentials. Importantly, we are looking for someone with prior experience of local government and data analysis that includes Adult Social Care.

You will be a present member of the team on the night shift, with a minimum of 2 people working per shift. We are here to promote independence and give our residents the tools needed to fulfil their lives in the community independently.
In this role, you will play a key role in supporting our residents on their journey to recovery, reablement, and rehabilitation, you’ll support individuals transitioning from complex care or acute mental health services to a structured rehabilitation setting.
