Repairs Systems Product Lead

Repairs Systems Product Lead

Housing
£42,912 - £49,155 per year

The role

You will be joining a service that is focused on continuous improvement, innovation and delivering better outcomes for residents. We work collaboratively across teams, partners and suppliers to modernise services, use data intelligently and ensure Southwark remains a place residents can be proud of.

The Repairs Systems Product Lead is based within the Housing service, working in the Responsive Repairs division and reporting to the Divisional Finance Manager. The role involves working across the Council with internal teams, senior managers and external organisations to deliver service objectives.

The role has responsibility for supporting financial monitoring of contracts and ensuring services deliver value for money, alongside maintaining high standards of data integrity, compliance and continuous improvement.

What you'll be doing:

You will lead the ownership and continuous improvement of Southwark’s repairs systems, ensuring they support an effective, reliable and resident-focused service. This includes acting as the product lead for key platforms, translating service needs into system changes, and managing a clear roadmap of improvements to enhance performance and outcomes.

Alongside this, you will oversee supplier relationships, system performance and data quality, ensuring systems are secure, well-managed and delivering accurate insight. A key part of the role is developing reporting and analytics that support decision-making, improve productivity and demonstrate value for money, while ensuring compliance with regulatory and audit requirements.

What we're looking for:

You will have strong experience of managing ICT or housing repairs systems, with a good understanding of repairs environments, contractor management and performance reporting. You will be confident working with data and using it to produce meaningful insight that informs service improvements and operational decisions.

You will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and influence a range of stakeholders. Strong organisational skills, the ability to prioritise work and make sound decisions, and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues and partners are essential for success in this role.
