About us

The People Administration Team process employee data including, but is not limited to, new starters, internal movers, contractual changes, variable deductions and payments and leavers.

We process and maintain HR Admin records and data, ensuring all documentation, data and information is processed in accordance with all relevant terms and conditions of council policies and statutory regulations.

The team ensure that monthly, quarterly and annual deadlines are met. We deliver a high quality, customer focused service, responding to and meeting a range of fluctuating pressures and daily demands. We act as first point of contact for Lincolnshire County Council employees.

This position is in the Schools People Administration Team, working alongside our Fire and Corporate People Administration Teams, linking our processes with the Payroll and Pension Teams.

You will be able to organise and prioritise your workload to meet deadlines, have a good eye for detail, be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team and adopt a proactive approach to any work assigned.

You will have minimum of 4 passes at grade 5 or above at GCSE level (or equivalent) or NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, be proficient in using Microsoft Windows and Office software and have experience working in a busy Administration role/team. Previous experience of working within the Public Sector office environment is desirable but not essential.

You will be given a nominated contractual work base and you will be required to commute to this work base when necessary. Working arrangements regarding hybrid working will be discussed as part of the appointment process.

Our technology platform and equipment is very good enabling you to connect and collaborate remotely. We require that you have in place good connectivity, and we will discuss during the recruitment process if support with this is needed.

Our values – collaborative, adaptable, eco-conscious, supportive, and responsible – guide everything we do. We’re looking for candidates who share these values and bring them to life in their work, helping us build strong teams and make a real difference in the communities we serve.
