We’re looking for an experienced Policy and Plans Manager to lead the development of evidence-based transport strategies and action plans that support healthier, more sustainable and inclusive ways to move around our borough. 
 
You’ll be part of the Strategic Planning &amp; Policy team in the Journeys and Places programme – responsible for delivering all new transport projects in Enfield. This is a key role for someone who understands how policy and data can influence real-world outcomes. 
 
You will: 
 
 - Lead the development of transport strategies and detailed action plans for walking, cycling, public transport and more 
 - Use local and strategic data (including borough-wide monitoring sensors) to track progress against our targets and shape future projects 
 - Work across teams to identify and prioritise transport schemes that improve safety, reduce car dependency and support community needs 
 - Prepare funding bids and maximise contributions from developers and other sources 
 - Line manage two professional officers, supporting their development and performance 
 - Represent the Council in external partnerships and across the organisation 
 
About you: 
You’ll bring a solid background in transport planning or policy, ideally with local authority experience. You’ll be confident in developing strategy and presenting evidence clearly – whether through data dashboards, formal reports or committee briefings. A good understanding of how transport policy links to wider corporate aims such as climate action, regeneration and equity is essential.

Working Style
This role will be carried out in-line with IPO Hybrid working arrangements where staff are currently expected to spend at least 20% of their time working onsite from one of our offices. This role is based in our&nbsp;Newport Office.

Chesterfield Borough Council is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Stage Crew Member to join our Cultural Services team.&nbsp;This is your chance to play a vital role in bringing performances and events to life across our vibrant council venues.
What you'll do&nbsp;
As a Stage Crew Member, you’ll help ensure the smooth delivery of performances and events by supporting the technical team and contributing to backstage operations.
Your responsibilities will include:&nbsp;

<li>assisting with loading/unloading, scenery construction, and stage rigging</li>
<li>supporting the setup and operation of lighting and sound systems</li>
<li>acting as show crew during performances – moving scenery, operating flying equipment or follow spots</li>
<li>ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and housekeeping in all technical areas</li>
<li>working safely at height and maintaining equipment</li>
<li>assisting with caretaking duties and equipment security post-event</li>
</ul>
