The Environmental Education Project, based at Rosliston Forestry Centre delivers award winning outdoor sessions and provides fun learning experiences for schools, volunteers, corporate groups, individuals and families at Rosliston and across the National Forest. We are looking to expand our team with casual Rangers who can lead conservation groups of individual and corporate volunteers. Casual Environmental Education Rangers: days/ hours according to bookings and taking into account your availability and preferences. Head of School

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Social Worker in Derbyshire Dales Short Term Assessment and Reablement Team (START). Relief Caretaker

Social Worker

Working as part of the catering team at Lea Green to undertake general kitchen duties, food preparation and service for a variety of meals, including special events, the post holder will have the responsibility for managing our busy kitchen, including health and safety, food hygiene and team leadership, during their shifts.The hours will be varied, and will include early mornings, evenings and weekends.You will need to demonstrate good all-round catering experience and have good communication skills. You will have a caring nature and be professionally curious about why a young person has gone missing and the impact of missing on the child(ren). You will have awareness of why return home interviews are undertaken and the themes and trends around missing children. Also, your approach will be trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and culturally competent, to ensure these responsive visits are impactful and supportive even when you may only engage with this child on a one-off occasion. While you will receive good support you will work independently, mostly carrying out visits on your own. You will be required to manage your own schedule and caseload, often under tight timeframes. The role requires extensive travel across the region, so flexibility and self-motivation and self-resilience are essential. About you
We are seeking to appoint an experienced Lecturers in Science, who can teach any or all disciplines (Biology and Chemistry), in order to contribute to the teaching and development of these subjects within our School of Science.&nbsp; You must be able to teach on AS/A2, BTEC and Higher Education courses. Experience of Access Courses would be an advantage. It is essential that you are experienced in tutoring, assessing, recording and tracking students on different courses.
The successful candidate should have a degree (or equivalent) in a related area. You should also be familiar with the current BTEC and A level curriculum and we encourage applications from teachers with a broad range of disciplines both in practice and theory
You will have sound organisational skills, your ability to work cooperatively and contribute positively and creatively to a team is also essential.
You will also possess a recognised Level 4 teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd) or be willing to work towards a Level 5 teaching qualification upon appointment.&nbsp; Excellent communication, administration and interpersonal skills together with a commitment to working effectively as part of a team and contribute positively and creatively are also essential in this role.

About the unit :- The Armed Response Unit provides the central armed response for the county and niche specialist capability including Tactical Rifle, Close Protection and Mobile Armed Support to Surveillance.
