The Private Finance Initiative Contract Management Service manage the Council’s Building Schools for the Future Private Finance Initiative (PFI) Programme which delivers a range of services to the secondary school and College sector (seven Centres for Learning) within Knowsley and the specialist educational provision at Bluebell Park.&nbsp; The Service manages a 25-year contract terminating on the 31 August 2034.&nbsp; These services relate to the management of the various contracts for the provision of the buildings, hard facilities management, soft facilities management, catering and any changes/variations as requested by the site leadership teams.

You will play a vital role in enforcing trading standards legislation, supporting businesses to achieve compliance, and safeguarding the wellbeing of residents and the local economy.<h4>What You’ll Do</h4>The successful candidate will be motivated, capable of independent work and able to juggle a varied workload which involves investigating complaints and taking enforcement action when required, inspecting premises, providing expert advice to businesses and carrying out projects.<h4>About You</h4><ul><li>To be successful in this role you will need to be an experienced Trading Standards Officer (qualified to a minimum of the TSPC or relevant precursor)</li><li>Proven experience in managing and prioritising your own workload, meeting performance targets, and working with minimal supervision.</li><li>Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills, with the ability to prepare reports and legal documents.</li><li>The ability to work flexibly, including outside normal hours, and to manage your own wellbeing and safety in challenging environments.</li><li>Substantial experience in Trading Standards enforcement, complex investigations, and project management.</li></ul><h4>Why Join Us?</h4>Ealing is one of London’s most vibrant and diverse boroughs, offering a unique and rewarding environment for regulatory professionals.
