Job Introduction

We’re recruiting a Psychology Assistant to join our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) service at Milton Keynes City Council.

You’ll play a key role in helping children and young people overcome barriers to learning and development. You’ll support the delivery of psychology-based interventions and contribute to improving wellbeing through early intervention and prevention.

This is a rewarding opportunity to work alongside Educational Psychologists, supporting schools, families and children across Milton Keynes.

You’ll help ensure that children and young people receive the right support at the right time, making a meaningful difference to their lives.

Site-Based role

This is a Site-Based role, and you’ll be expected to work from the designated workplace.

Interviews for this role will be held w/c 17 August

We’re building a team that’s focused on making a real difference across our local area. Working with partners, services and communities, you’ll help bring people together, drive collaboration and support improvements that have a lasting impact.

In this role, you’ll play an important part in delivering key priorities, helping shape better experiences and outcomes while ensuring our work stays aligned with both local needs and national expectations. • Contribute to the planning and delivery of training sessions for schools and professionals.
  • Assist with service research, projects and initiatives to improve outcomes for children and young people while maintaining accurate records and monitoring progress.
  • Develop and update service resources, communications and information, including website content, while responding flexibly to changing service needs and priorities.
Ideal Candidate
