Permanent | Full time | Salary £71,335 - £73,113

Northumberland have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager to join the team to shape and influence services for Cared For Children and Young People and Care Leavers.

If you are an ambitious, innovative and child-focused leader who is ready to make a significant impact, we would love to hear from you.

We are looking for an exceptional leader to join our senior management team as Senior Manager overseeing our Cared For and Care Leavers teams.

This is a pivotal role with responsibility for leading and developing services for children and young people in our care, ensuring they receive the highest quality support, achieve positive outcomes and experience stability, safety and belonging.

We are ambitious for our children and young people. We believe every child deserves the opportunity to thrive, maintain meaningful relationships and achieve their full potential. We are seeking a leader who shares these values and can inspire others to deliver outstanding services and lasting change.

About the role

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with an expectation that the postholder will regularly attend County Hall, Morpeth, alongside travel across Northumberland and engagement with partners and services as required.

We are seeking a qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England, who has substantial senior leadership experience within Children's Services. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of driving service improvement, leading high-performing teams, delivering positive outcomes for children and young people, and working effectively within complex partnership environments.

If this is you we would love to hear from you!
