Working Pattern: Bank Contract, 12-month Fixed-Term Contract

Salary: DHU Band 2, £24,853 per annum (pro rata)

At DHU Healthcare, our Urgent and Emergency Care teams work on the frontline of the NHS, delivering expert, compassionate care 24/7, 365 days a year. From Emergency Departments and Urgent Treatment Centres to GP surgeries and communities across the East Midlands and beyond, we’re there when people need us most.

Our teams of skilled medical, nursing, allied health, and support professionals all work together to respond quickly and effectively to every patient. We deliver a wide range of services including community nursing, urgent treatment, primary care streaming, urgent on-day primary care, GP home visiting, phlebotomy, community hospital medical cover, telephone consultation support, and palliative care home visiting. As a Driver you will:

  • Safely transport clinicians to and from home visits, supporting timely patient care.
  • Use in-car systems to manage journeys and respond to visit priorities.
  • Take responsibility for vehicle checks, equipment, and stock readiness.
  • Work calmly and professionally in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
  • Play a key role in helping deliver compassionate care in the community every day.
