To be responsible for recording and monitoring required activity of the AMHP service and submitting monthly statistics to the Head of Social Work. The Working Age Team works with adults from the age of 18 to 67 with a Learning Disability, Physical Disability, and enduring mental health diagnosis. The team is very busy and the work complex and challenging, as part of the management team you will be expected to cover for the Team Manager when absent and to provide on-going support/cover to the other members of the management team who are responsible for managing the functions of Duty and Safeguarding. You will also be required to provide out of hours support to the two-part time AMHPs that work each weekday up to 8pm, this may on occasions be later depending on the outcome of assessments. This will also include being available for all AMHPs that are out later than standard working hour, you will be expected to provide professional support.
