About the Role
The Digital Inclusion Apprentice will support the Combined Authority’s Digital Inclusion Programme, which exists to help residents online and ensure they have the right skills, access and motivation to lead a modern digital life.
This role will work within the Digital Inclusion team and engage with a range of community and voluntary sector organisations, local authority digital inclusion services, key stakeholders and residents to help the uptake of related digital inclusion provision through innovative and community-based participation projects and support.
The Apprentice will be required to undertake the ‘Cultural learning &amp; participation officer’ (CLPO) level 3 apprenticeship standard through the duration of the role. A Technical Programme Manager (TPgM) within the Asset Investment Department plays a strategic and operational role, overseeing the delivery of complex technical programmes related to public infrastructure, land, buildings, and other assets. The role bridges technical, managerial, and policy domains, aligning asset management initiatives with regional goals like sustainability, regeneration, and service delivery improvement.

About the person
The ideal candidate will have extensive technical experience commensurate with the grade, programme managing engineering and construction projects and having the ability to be agile. Experience of managing technical staff and motivating them to deliver high value and complex projects is essential to the role.
Candidates must have a flexible and can-do approach that would support the organisational behaviours of LCR first, Respect and Action Focussed.

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced economic analyst to join a successful team whose work informs and shapes the Combined Authority’s policy, strategy and investment activity.

About the Role The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority (LCRCA) is seeking a Project Manager (Cladding Remediation) to lead and deliver its Local Remediation Acceleration Plan, a government-backed initiative with the aim of accelerating the remediation of buildings with unsafe cladding across the city region.
This is a crucial role requiring close collaboration with local partners – including fire and rescue services, local authorities and contractors – to ensure that cladding remediation projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with the latest building safety legislation and best practice.
As a high calibre Project Manager, you will support the delivery of projects on time, to budget and to the right standard. Working as part of a newly formed Remediation Acceleration Unit (RAU) you will support local partners to:

<li>•‍Drive and monitor the progress of remediation</li>
<li>•‍Coordinate intervention activity</li>
<li>•‍Receive, record and share data</li>
<li>•‍Assure the safety of buildings awaiting or undergoing remediation</li>
<li>•‍Identify additional buildings in need of remediation alongside government schemes</li>
<li>•‍Take action, including enforcement action, where voluntary remediation is not progressing at a reasonable pace</li>
</ul>
You will be based primarily at LCRCA (Mann Island, Liverpool), with regular contact at Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service (Bootle, Liverpool), and the flexibility for hybrid or remote working.
This is a 24 month fixed term vacancy with the option of extension.

About the person 
&nbsp;Essential skills and knowledge for this role:
<ul>
<li>•‍Degree / project management / professional qualifications</li>
<li>•‍Well established project manager with leadership experience on complex and high value projects £20M+ and managing associated budgets</li>
<li>•‍Knowledge and experience of building safety landscape and/or experience with cladding remediation projects</li>
<li>•‍Knowledge and/or experience of managing grant funding agreements and associated reporting.</li>
<li>•‍Demonstrable experience using project management methodology and tools</li>
<li>•‍Solid experience building collaborative stakeholder relationships, interdisciplinary meetings and working with supply chain and local Government officials / Civil Servants.</li>
