Positive Change Service – the domestic abuse intervention service for LBTH Children’s Social Care – is seeking a permanent Lead Safety Worker to work with perpetrators of domestic abuse. This post is specified for a male worker as per an occupational requirement to enable us to use mix-gender co-facilitators in our groupwork with fathers.Positive Change Service delivers psycho-educational interventions with perpetrators, survivors and children impacted by domestic abuse. We are a creative, supportive and motivated team, working for systems change alongside personal change, to improve the lives of families in Tower Hamlets. The service is part of the Children’s Social Care, MASH and Assessment &amp; Intervention Service. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join the Tower Hamlets Transport Planning team, within our Transport and Highways Service.Role purposeAs a Transport Planner within the Transportation Group, you will take the lead on delivery and implementation of the borough's School Travel Plans through TfL's Travel for Life programme, alongside delivery of behaviour change projects including Zero Emission Network (ZEN), cycle training, inclusive cycling, community cycle hubs, cycle parking and the council's staff travel plan. You will also assist in funding bid submissions, stakeholder engagement and the development and implementation of integrated transport strategies.Key responsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be required to co-ordinate the borough's School Travel Plan programme, delivering an increase in TfL Travel for Life accredited schools, and assisting in delivery of a range of key projects including the award winning Zero Emission Network (ZEN) and workplace travel plans alongside delivery of Local Implementation Plan (LIP) projects including cycle training, inclusive cycling, community cycle hubs, cycle parking and other sustainable travel projects in line with the Tower Hamlets Transport Strategy. About the RoleWe are recruiting experienced social workers for our front door service in Family Support and Protection Teams.If you are passionate about building relationships with children and families at their first contact with Children’s Social Care, focused on working towards positive outcomes for children and have&nbsp;at least 1 year of post-qualifying experience in a statutory Children’s Social Care team, we would love you to apply.Family Support and Protection Service (FSP) consists of 10 social work teams. Family Support and Protection undertake child in need work, child protection work, alongside court work. This enables social workers to gain a good understanding of statutory work, but we also work closely with schools, health and voluntary organisations that formulates good partnership working with the ultimate aim of safeguarding and supporting children, young people and their families. The team created to support these sanctuary seekers is called the Resettlement &amp; Migration team (RMT), we are looking to recruit a Housing Officer to join the team.The team offer wrap around support to all sanctuary seekers in Tower Hamlets including Ukrainian and Afghan refugees and asylum seekers and receive government grants to do so. The Resettlement &amp; Migration Team lead by example, challenging discrimination, racism and inequality through an inclusive, informed and empowering approach for all residents. This role will serve those who are at risk of homelessness, looking to reduce rough sleeping and ending destitution. The role will aid the integration of sanctuary seekers, build social cohesion in our communities and share best practice with other local authorities.The Housing Officer will be required:1.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;To work with and support refugees and those with potential refugee status living in Home Office accommodation, sponsorship placements or making their own arrangements.2.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;To work with NASS providers such as Clearsprings and their subcontractors.3.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Welcome Afghan refugees to LAHF properties procured by the LA4.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;To arrange, host and manage events and workshops with sanctuary seekers.
