The service currently covers a vast area, working across the whole of Derbyshire. Much of the work of The Outback is undertaken in the family homes of the children, their schools or local communities. Therefore, it is essential that applicants are confident to travel around the county and are also able to transport young people as required.Edge of Care/Preventing Family Breakdown – These are bespoke support packages which are agreed with allocated social workers in order to support specific targets that are identified through safeguarding plans or legal processes. The worker will work with the children and family carers, offering support and advice to achieve the identified targets. About the role:

The Adoption Quality and Development Lead plays a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality adoption and adoption support services. They will be one of PACT’s agency decision makers. They will also manage projects such as the birth relatives project and support digital and training initiatives. This is a rewarding role where you will work directly with young people, including separated migrant children, helping them build the skills and confidence they need to live independently.About the roleWorking as part of a dedicated team, your role as a Night Supervisor is to:<ul><li>Provide appropriate support to the young people.</li><li>Follow agreed support plans and risk assessments to ensure that we are providing a service that meets each individual’s needs, supports their aspirations and maximises their independence.</li></ul>The shifts will be between the hours of 09:45pm - 07:15am.You will be allowed to sleep between midnight - 7:00am but you are still expected to respond to any emergencies or incidents, which may affect the safety or security/welfare of the young people or the standing of the project in the community.You will need to be able to:<ul><li>Work shifts as part of a rota system which will include weekend and bank holiday working.</li><li>Work as part of a team to deliver an excellent service to the people we support.</li><li>Be flexible in your approach to work.</li><li>Have a commitment to equality and diversity and take a positive approach to supporting people.</li></ul>It is essential that you hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work.Experience is desirable but not essential.In return for your hard work and commitment to our young people, we offer a considerable benefits package.
