The Learning Partnership along with the Principal at Wistaston Church Lane Academy wish to appoint a motivated, committed and highly effective Assistant Caretaker to join our hard working and enthusiastic team.
Key duties will include:

<li>Ensuring that the site and its buildings are locked and secured at the end of the day.</li>
<li>Maintaining and cleaning parts of the school daily.</li>
<li>Acting as a designated key holder for the school premises.</li>
<li>Undertaking minor repairs and maintenance, including painting and decorating.</li>
<li>Undertaking general portage duties, including moving furniture and distributing items to the appropriate place.</li>
<li>Taking action where Health and Safety hazards are identified.</li>
<li>Basic grounds maintenance – snow clearing, gritting, litter picking, bin emptying.</li>

The Swim Co-ordinator role focuses on co-ordinating a high quality i-Swim programme, and ensuring delivery of a professional, welcoming and inclusive swim lesson environment at all our sites.&nbsp; Swim Co-ordinators provide day to day supervision of the Swim Instructors, and act as a facilitator and advocate to help raise the profile, importance and benefits of learning to swim.&nbsp;

An exciting opportunity has arisen within North Kent College’s Equine department in the capacity of an Equine Riding Instructor. 
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Equestrian Riding Instructor to join our curriculum team based at our Hadlow campus in Kent. 
The Equine Unit at Hadlow has extensive facilities including two indoor arenas, a large outdoor arena and stabling for 64 horses. Teaching resources include a full set of competition show jumps, portable cross-country fences and a mechanical horse.&nbsp;
You will be joining a diverse team of Equine Lecturers, Riding Instructors and Equine Grooms to enhance the curriculum provision and employability of equine learners. As part of the role, you’ll be required to prepare, teach, and assess at a variety of riding levels, providing support and guidance to your learners as they progress through their riding journeys. You will be responsible for allocating horses and supervising their preparation. Within the role you will exercise College horses and can compete them in our onsite events. You will work closely with industry professionals to enrich the learner experience in preparation for their next steps. Outside of term-time delivery, you will be responsible for assessing future applicants during their interviews, showcasing the department at marketing events as well as working with the Equine Grooms to maintain high levels of horse care.
Sharing your knowledge to unlock potential whilst guiding our learners through their studies, you’ll have specialist knowledge of Equine studies, which may be enhanced by any relevant industry / professional experience, as well as a formal qualification that underpins this knowledge. To be considered for the role, candidates must hold a minimum of Level 3 qualification in a related area and have a recognised BHS riding instruction qualification (Stage 3 or above). The successful candidate will be a team player, an excellent communicator, and able to maintain a proactive approach to managing deadlines, whilst retaining a high standard of delivery. The ideal candidate will have a positive and can-do attitude and a strong desire to utilise their coaching skills to develop the riding ability of our college students. This role offers the opportunity to work with riders of all levels in a dynamic and supportive educational environment.

<li>Demonstrable research skills, to enable quick and effective grasp of information from a range of sources on a wide range of policy topics, and proven experience of policy briefing in a political/ public sector organisation.</li>
<li>Experience of working directly with influential, high-profile people in a pressured environment and in dealing with confidential/sensitive issues and documents; the ability to work in a politically complex organisation and apply political awareness</li>

Who are we?
Hawley Woods School provides a specialist environment and support primarily for autistic children and those needing a similarly adapted approach with small classes of 6-8 pupils within our calm, nurturing setting. Our school caters for children from the age of 7 up to 16 years (Key Stages 2, 3 and 4). 
We help children with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) who may be struggling to keep up with the pace of work, may be losing confidence, or struggling with the overwhelming sensory environment of their mainstream school. We also help children who have been out of education for a period of time, to positively re-engage in an education which takes into account any negative experiences they may have had in schools so far.

Hawley Woods School is part of Kedleston Group. We specialise in providing specialist education and care for children aged 7-19 with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Shared Lives is a care and support service which offers an alternative to supported living or residential care. As an Independent Living Officer you will be responsible for the day to day running of a City Council Independent Living scheme, for this role the scheme is at Ripley Court and is a CAT2 scheme , which incorporates 36 flats self-contained flats, communal laundry, communal lounges and gardens.

An understanding of community care and the ability to deal with any situation, as and when it arises, in an efficient and effective way, is essential.
The Independent Living team is a large, dispersed team, when required, you will be expected to provide cover for any of our other Lancaster City Council independent living schemes within the area.

Working in the Community Contact Centre you will be striving to deliver excellent customer service to members of the public, regardless of access channel, i.e. face to face, phone, email or web services to proactively resolve customer issues, dealing with enquiries involving all council services including Council Tax, Housing Benefits, Homelessness, Parking, Environmental Health, Waste and Recycling.&nbsp;&nbsp;
You will need to have excellent customer service skills, some experience of working with the public, prepared to have challenging conversations and enjoy working as part of a team.  You will be expected to work in our offices in Hastings Town Centre.

About The Role
The Tenant Satisfaction Improvement Team plays a vital role in ensuring landlord customer complaints are resolved promptly and in accordance with the statutory obligations set out in the Housing Ombudsman’s Complaints Handling Code.
As a member of this team, you will be responsible for supporting residents throughout the complaints journey, with a particular focus on investigating Stage 2 landlord complaints and Housing Ombudsman enquiries. These cases may relate to Asset Management &amp; Repairs and Housing Management Services.
Key Objectives:
<ol>
<li>Timely Investigations Ensure all allocated Stage 2 complaints and Ombudsman cases are thoroughly investigated and responded to within statutory timeframes.</li>
</ol>
2.Case Coordination Lead and coordinate case management meetings throughout the complaint lifecycle, ensuring all aspects of the complaint are addressed comprehensively.
3.Resident Engagement Maintain regular and empathetic communication with residents via telephone, written correspondence, and in-person meetings throughout the complaint process.

<li>Action Tracking Monitor and track actions arising from complaints, ensuring timely completion by relevant services. Escalate unresolved actions as necessary.</li>

The team’s core aims include:
1.Comprehensive Coordination Managing 100% of Stage 2 complaints and Housing Ombudsman enquiries across Housing Management and Asset Management &amp; Repairs, ensuring timely collection of investigatory information and delivery of high-quality responses within statutory deadlines.
2.Ombudsman Compliance Monitoring all Housing Ombudsman Orders, Recommendations, and remedial actions, and ensuring timely confirmation of compliance is submitted to the Ombudsman.
3.Action Plan Oversight Maintaining and regularly updating the Complaints Action Plan to reflect outcomes and learning from resolved cases.
4.Service Improvement Tracking Collaborating with Service Leads to monitor progress on service improvement actions arising from complaints, ensuring accountability and follow-through.
This is a dynamic and collaborative team that plays a key role in shaping a responsive and resident-focused housing service.
About You
To be considered for this role you will:
