 About the Role You will be responsible for assisting the Revenues &amp; Benefits Quality Assurance Manager in providing quality assurance on the Local Taxation and Benefits functions (Council Tax, Business Rates, BID’s and Benefits). We will provide you with the necessary support and training so you may grow and develop your career. You will work closely with colleagues, customers, and external agencies to provide a high-quality service.
Regular inspections will be required for sites that have been given planning permission, be it new builds, alterations or developments, where you will need to monitor their progression to establish an effective date of entry, for when they can be brought into the valuation/rating list. Please note that it is a requirement of this role to have a full UK driving licence and access to a car that can be driven for Council business purposes.
About the Person

<li>In the role of a Pest Control Officer, you will deliver high-quality pest control services to residential, commercial, and public sector clients across the borough</li>
<li>As a Pest Control Officer, you will undertake investigations and treatments for a range of pests, ensuring compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation</li>
<li>The Pest Control Officer will support the Council’s statutory duties under public health legislation through responsive domestic pest control work as well as manage income-generating service contracts and one-off treatments for businesses, landlords, and housing providers</li>
<li>As a Pest Control Officer, you will provide expert advice and recommendations to customers on pest prevention and control measures and accurately record all inspections, treatments, and outcomes using digital systems and service records</li>
<li>For this role of a Pest Control Officer, you will need to work flexibly across a variety of locations, including homes, commercial premises, and public areas and collaborate with Environmental Health Officers and other departments to support wider public health objectives</li>

We are seeking a skilled and analytical Cyber Security Analyst to join our growing security team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, analysing, and responding to security threats, supporting incident response efforts, and helping to strengthen the council’s overall security posture.
