About the role
This role is one of three financial accountants that supports the Deputy Chief Accountant in preparing the annual statement of accounts and liaising with external auditors. <h2>About the team and role</h2>
The Liberal Democrat Group scrutinises the work of the Mayor across the policy areas of transport, housing, environment, policing, health, the economy, planning and regeneration, fire and emergency planning, and the Mayor’s multi-billion pound budget. Applications are invited from candidates with extensive press and media experience in a busy office and of working for elected representatives or similar high profile public individuals.
Your role will involve working closely with the team’s Senior Researcher who leads on communications and the two Research and Support Officers, including setting and co-ordinating the day-to-day work of the team. You will need to liaise with external stakeholders to ensure that the work of the group is represented and promoted through a variety of media, both proactively and reactively promoting the work of the Assembly Members.&nbsp; An in-depth knowledge and understanding of a variety of media is vital.

A vacancy has arisen at Northway Community Primary School for a temporary Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in Year 2. The pupil has complex learning needs and requires a personalised curriculum which the person will be required to support to deliver. Marlfields Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced temporary Teaching Assistant to start in September 2025. The role will be temporary for 1-year, full-time grade 4 post with PPA cover paid at a relevant rate (at least 3.25 hrs per week.) term time plus insets.
