The Regulatory Services Partnership (RSP) hosted by Merton Council is one of the largest Environmental Health Services in London, with the Food and Safety Team responsible for overseeing more than 6,000 food businesses in Merton, Richmond and Wandsworth. The area covered is diverse in nature and includes a variety of high profile and interesting venues, such as Wimbledon Tennis, AFC Wimbledon, Twickenham Rugby, Battersea Power Station, New Covent Garden and Hampton Court Flower Show.

As part of the team operating on a rotating Day/Night shift schedule, you’ll be tasked with carrying out planned electrical maintenance and responding to emergency/reactive works across the Mersey Tunnels and wider estate. You’ll work closely with your team to deliver maintenance and installation projects under the supervision of a Team Leader and the Principal Officer - Works Delivery.
About the shift pattern
This role comes with a 3-week rotating shift pattern designed to offer flexibility and a better work-life balance, with the bonus of no Friday afternoon or Friday night shifts!

We are looking for a proactive Waste Operations Team Leader to join our Waste Services team. This is an exciting internal only opportunity to lead and manage the day-to-day delivery of the East Kent Waste Services Contract, ensuring high standards of service across both Folkestone &amp; Hythe and Dover District Councils.
You will manage a team and provide leadership, coaching, and support to ensure effective contract monitoring, complaint resolution, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Oversee the monitoring and performance of the Council’s recycling, waste, and cleansing contract.</li>
<li>Lead proactive and reactive inspections, investigations, and KPI reporting.</li>
<li>Manage responses to service queries, complaints, and defaults within agreed timescales.</li>
<li>Liaise with contractors and stakeholders to resolve issues and implement service improvements.</li>
<li>Manage budgets and procurement for litter and dog-waste bins.</li>
<li>Represent the Council at meetings with community groups and partner organisations.</li>
<li>Support the Head of Waste Services with reports, policies, and contract development.</li>
</ul>
What We’re Looking For
<ul>
<li>Degree-level education (ideally in Waste or an Environmental subject) or equivalent experience.</li>
<li>3–5 years’ experience in contract management.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of waste, recycling, cleansing, and environmental legislation.</li>
<li>Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.</li>
<li>Competent IT skills (Microsoft Office).</li>
<li>Ability to travel around the districts.</li>

We have a hybrid working approach with an expectation that you will work from the DDC Offices in Whitfield, Dover at least two days per week.

An exciting opportunity has arisen in Sefton Council to appoint a 36-hour permanent role for a Crematorium Operative in Sefton Bereavement Services Team.
The role sits in the Bereavement Services Team, within In House Operational Services based in Thornton Garden of Rest/Southport Crematorium.
As part of the team in this role you will be responsible for all cremation duties of the deceased as well as chapel duties and maintenance works, customer and deceased care, and memorial queries throughout the year and ensuring that due care and attention to detail is at the highest standards in line with Sefton Council policies and the Job Description.
As a Crematorium Operative you will be tasked with ensuring safety is always monitored and any issues reported to be resolved immediately as well the process of undertaking the cremation of the deceased is dignified and respectful at all times. 14 hours per month contractual overtime will also be paid to cover out of hours duties of the service where required.
The Crematoria service undertakes circa 2400 cremations per annum as well as 600 burials per annum and provides a high-quality service to the bereaved.

We are looking for a reliable and calm Evening Security and Caretaker to support the safety, security and smooth running of our central offices, annexe building and Borough Hall during evening hours.
This is an important role that helps ensure our buildings remain safe, well-presented and welcoming for staff, members and the public.
Working largely independently during evening shifts, you will oversee building security, respond effectively to emergencies, and support evening meetings and events. You’ll also liaise with colleagues such as the evening receptionist and cleaning staff to ensure high standards are maintained.
The most important qualities for this role are:
* Ability to work confidently both alone and as part of a team, following verbal and written instructions and using initiative when required
* Calm and effective response in emergencies, including security incidents, fire or lift evacuations

About the Role

About the role
As the Senior digital insight analyst, you’ll lead on our digital analytics to ensure we have high quality, reliable insight that drives better user experience across all our digital products and improves our digital performance.
You’ll take ownership of Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM) , ensuring our tracking and reporting is accurate, insightful, and aligned with our broader data strategy. Working closely with internal teams and external agencies, you’ll embed robust tagging, maintain clear measurement standards and develop accessible dashboards that inform decision-making across the organisation.
A key part of your role will be turning data into actionable insight. You’ll analyse user journeys, identify friction points from ecommerce tracking, run A/B tests, and identify opportunities for growth, your work will help us connect more meaningfully with our audiences. You’ll help us make the most of our digital data, combining it with data from our CRM and other sources to generate joined-up, actionable insights.
Your work will support website optimisation, content decisions, product development and user experience improvements. 
About you
You bring strong hands-on experience in digital analytics and a passion for using data to improve user experience and drive meaningful change.
You are confident in:

<li>Implementing and debugging GA4 and GTM</li>
<li>Analysing website performance and user journeys</li>
<li>Building clear dashboards in Looker Studio</li>
<li>Running A/B or multivariate tests to improve conversion and engagement</li>

Key Responsibilities:

<li>Manage the delivery of the Council’s Capital Programme construction projects, from inception to completion, to time, budget and service client satisfaction, and in line with the Council’s procurement rules and regulations</li>
<li>Oversee the appointment and management of external consultants and contractors on spatial planning, property, highway, construction and other commissions which contribute to the planning, appraisal and delivery of development sites.</li>

Casual staff required to act as Passenger Assistants on home to school transport for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities attending special schools and bases.
Passenger Assistants are employed to supervise children and to ensure their health and safety whilst travelling on vehicles contracted to the Authority. Casual staff will be employed to cover for sickness or leave of absence for permanent escorts employed by the Authority.
Hours will vary from 1-20 depending on the individual journey and length of time the cover is required. Passenger Assistants will work in taxis, minibuses and wheelchair accessible vehicles.
