About the role
The Industry Skills Tutor will manage a caseload of apprentices by monitoring attendance, progression, achievement and completion, organising pastoral support as required and by working with all parties involved to resolve any issues that may affect successful completion of the programmes. We are looking for a candidate with experience within Electrical industry. The Industry Skills Tutor will coordinate achievement of all aspects of apprenticeship standards or frameworks, to include quality assurance where appropriate, ensuring learners achieve on time, and in-line with college targets. The successful applicants will develop individual action plans including the setting of smart targets tailored to meet apprentices’ needs while maintaining accurate records in line with the College requirements.
The Industry Skills Tutor will;

<li>Hold a relevant vocational qualification at or above level 3 and hold an Assessor award and IQA award</li>
<li>Have relevant up-to-date industrial/subject knowledge and a knowledge of the Electrical industry and employment opportunities</li>
<li>Have a knowledge of Ofsted and apprenticeship and AEB funding</li>
<li>Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written</li>
<li>Have excellent organisational and administrative skills and be able to manage and organise priorities, working as part of a team to ensure quality of provision and timely and overall successful outcomes.</li>

As a Lecturer in Plumbing, you will develop and maintain up to date industry knowledge, bringing in industry professionals, where possible, that are relevant to the curriculum and the employability and skills needs of students. You will support and motivate learners to meet their individual aspiration and goals and will coordinate the tracking of learners’ achievements. In your role you will lead study programmes to attain outstanding achievement and student retention and progression.
You will have sound organisational skills,&nbsp;your ability to work cooperatively and contribute positively and creatively to a team is also essential.&nbsp;
We welcome candidates with industry experience, and you will have the opportunity to work towards a teaching qualification. The Career Cluster of Health, Wellbeing &amp; Care has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced Lecturer within Health and Social Care. The role will involve tutoring and course management of a Level 1, 2, or 3 vocational programme as well as teaching across all programmes.&nbsp;
The successful applicant will coordinate the effective delivery of the Social Care study programmes across various levels providing academic leadership for students, creating a curriculum that is engaging, relevant and coherent and in line with local and national priorities. As a Lecturer in Social Care, you will develop and maintain up to date industry knowledge, bringing in industry professionals, where possible, that are relevant to the curriculum and the employability and skills needs of students. You will support and motivate learners to meet their individual aspiration and goals and will coordinate the tracking of learners’ achievements. In your role you will lead study programmes to attain outstanding achievement and student retention and progression.&nbsp;
You will have sound organisational skills, your ability to work cooperatively and contribute positively and creatively to a team is also essential. &nbsp;
Applicants that have current teaching experience should also be familiar with the current CACHE curriculum and we encourage applications from teachers with a broad range of disciplines both in practice and theory.&nbsp;
