<p>The Regulatory Services Partnership (RSP) hosted by Merton Council is one of the largest Environmental Health Services in London, with the Food and Safety Team responsible for overseeing more than 6,000 food businesses in Merton, Richmond and Wandsworth. The area covered is diverse in nature and includes a variety of high profile and interesting venues, such as Wimbledon Tennis, AFC Wimbledon, Twickenham Rugby, Battersea Power Station, New Covent Garden and Hampton Court Flower Show.</p>

<h4>Job summary</h4><p>The UK Hydrographic Office is a leading centre for hydrography, providing marine geospatial data to inform maritime decisions. We work with a wide range of data suppliers and partners to support maritime navigation, safety, security and marine development around the UK and worldwide.</p><p>These Year in Industry Placements sit within Operations Division and will run from Summer 2026 through to Summer 2027 (12 months). These opportunities are specifically designed for students undertaking a relevant undergraduate degree with a Year in Industry placement option at the end of the second year. This is a pre-requisite for applying.</p><p>These opportunities will enable you to gain “real-world” experience of using the skills and knowledge that you have been building (depending on your course of study). <h4>Job summary</h4><p>We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Validator to join our International Validation Team – part of the International Centre for Electronic Navigational Charts (IC-ENC) as we retain capacity and increase output. </p><p>This role offers the chance to work within a dynamic, globally connected team that collaborates closely with our regional offices in Australia, Brazil, Nigeria, and the United States. The Data Validation team is responsible for the quality assurance of electronic navigational charts (ENCs) (our digital maritime products) produced by 54 organisations worldwide.
