You will be carrying out food hygiene inspections, service requests, reactive and proactive health and safety enforcement, infectious disease controls, complaint investigations, approved premises inspections and enforcement work.&nbsp; You must be experienced in carrying out food hygiene official controls and the preparation and service of statutory notices and prosecutions.
You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and a commitment to providing good customer care.&nbsp; You will also have excellent interpersonal skills and be a great team player.&nbsp; The successful candidate must be able to travel throughout the borough to attend site visits as required by the role.&nbsp; We are an agile organisation working flexibly from home and the office in a hybrid work pattern, so you will need to be self-motivated and be able to work well independently.
Applicants must be appropriately qualified in accordance with the Food Standards Agency Food Law Code of Practice, having a degree in Environmental Health or equivalent as well as a Certificate of Registration of the Environmental Health Registration Board (EHRB).&nbsp; If you are driven and enjoy a varied and challenging workload, we would love to hear from you.

Position Swim Teacher level 2
Location: Volair - Knowsley Leisure &amp; Culture Park, Huyton, L36 6EG
Type: Perm
Hours: 12.5 hours contracted (additional overtime available)
Shift: Early evening between Mon - Fri 15.00 - 18.45 and Sat 8.00 – 11.45. (actual shifts TBC)

As a Volair Swimming Teacher, you must be passionate about helping people of all ages and abilities learn to swim. In this rewarding role, you'll play a vital role in developing water safety skills and fostering a love of swimming in students of all ages and abilities.
Role
We need Swimming Teachers who will…

<li>Develop and deliver engaging swim lessons tailored to individual student needs and skill levels.</li>
<li>Instruct proper swimming techniques, water safety procedures, and pool etiquette.</li>
<li>Provide positive reinforcement and encouragement to help students build confidence and achieve their goals.</li>
<li>Ensure a safe and fun learning environment for all swimmers.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate attendance and progress records.</li>
<li>Engage, coach, and inspire our members of all ages and abilities to achieve their swimming goals</li>
<li>Be a positive role model with a fun, engaging approach to lessons.</li>
<li>Be part of a motivated team fully embracing our company values and standards.</li>
<li>Support the varied programme of activities and sessions.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Strong swimming ability and a proven understanding of proper swimming techniques.</li>
<li>Minimum of [Required Swim Instruction Certification] (e.g., ASA Level 2 Swimming Teaching Certificate, STA Level 2 Certificate in Swimming Teaching).</li>
<li>Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patience skills.</li>
<li>Ability to effectively engage and motivate students in a pool setting.</li>
<li>Fun, energetic personality and a passion for swimming!</li>
