Jobs Go Public works with the Catholic Education Service to streamline job applications
Jobs Go Public provides a modern, candidate-centric online application experience which is now approved for use by Catholic schools
We're delighted to announce that we have worked with the Catholic Education Service (CES) to deliver online application forms for teaching, leadership and support staff positions in Catholic schools.
Modernising education recruitment
Traditionally, the CES has offered model application forms as downloadable documents that candidates complete offline and then send to school leaders or administrators. However, it was recognised by the CES that this approach was creating barriers for potential applicants and placing administrative burdens on school staff.
We have collaborated with the CES to address these challenges and introduced a modern, digital-first approach to school recruitment.
Putting job seekers first
The new online application forms prioritise candidate experience with several key improvements:
- Save and return functionality: Candidates can save progress and complete applications at their convenience. This is crucial when our research with public sector candidates shows 47% abandon applications they can't save mid-process.
- Reusable application details: Candidates can save their information and automatically populate future applications across different Catholic schools, dramatically reducing time investment.
- Enhanced accessibility: Comprehensive accessibility tools ensure all candidates can navigate the application process without barriers.
- GDPR compliance: Secure data protection meeting all educational sector requirements.
Shared values
Paul Barber, Director of the CES, said:
“The CES has been pleased to work with Jobs Go Public to ensure that its application forms are suitable for use in Catholic schools and MATs. It is important that the CES provides support to enable Catholic schools and MATs to attract the best candidates.”
Steven Doyle, Jobs Go Public’s Director of Product and Partnerships, commented:
“Working closely with the Catholic Education Service has enabled us to bring their well-established forms into a digital format that puts applicants first. We are excited to see candidates and school recruiters benefit from our accessible, mobile-friendly application forms.”
