
Activities Co-ordinator
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of older people living with dementia? We're looking for a creative, compassionate, and enthusiastic Activities Coordinator to join our friendly team and bring joy, stimulation, and purpose to the lives of our residents.
About the Role:
As Activities Coordinator, you’ll plan and deliver a wide variety of meaningful activities tailored to our residents' interests, needs, and life histories. From reminiscence sessions and arts & crafts to music, gardening, and community events – your role will be vital in enhancing wellbeing and creating a vibrant, inclusive home environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver a wide variety of person-centred activities for individuals and groups
Encourage residents to participate in meaningful activities based on their interests and abilities
Promote a home-wide ethos that "activities is everyone’s business", encouraging care and nursing staff to engage in and support daily activity provision
Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and volunteers to deliver engaging and inclusive programmes
Build community links to bring external visitors, entertainers, and resources into the home
Monitor and evaluate activity engagement and wellbeing outcomes
Keep records on all individual care plans of activities that have been undertaken
Contribute to the development of the residents social and activity Care Plan.
About You:
Experience working with people living with dementia is essential.
Confident in building strong, positive relationships with residents, relatives, and colleagues
A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
Able to act as a positive ambassador for the home, representing our values and promoting a sense of community
Creative, motivated, and able to bring ideas to life with enthusiasm

Salary range
- £24,796 - £25,185 per year
