Activity Club Assistants - After School Club

Required to start as soon as possible

The children, staff and Governors wish to recruit an enthusiastic, highly motivated and capable activity club assistant to play a key role in the development of our after school club.

Experience of working with children/young people in a school environment is essential for this job, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with pupils, parents and staff members.

The successful candidates will work any of the following hours –

After school club from 3:05pm to 5:30pm on a Tuesday and 3:05pm to 5pm on a Friday, total hours 4 hours 20 minutes.

The role will include -

¨ Preparing the rooms for after school club snack and play activities

¨ Providing the children with a healthy, balanced snack

¨ Promoting and encouraging games and activities in the club

¨ Working as a team with the other staff and liaising with teachers as needed

¨ Ensuring appropriate behaviour and dealing with any issues during the club
