Wage: £33,690 - £38,204 inc pension

Grade: G6 35hrs per week (8.30 – 4.00 ½ hour lunch) 39 weeks per year

Contract Length: permanent following successful probationary period

The Quinta Primary School, Congleton, is seeking to appoint a skilled adult with a passion for working with children in KS1 or lower KS2.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a genuine passion for working with children with SEND and wants to make a real difference to their lives.
  • Can build strong relationships with children and families.
  • Has experience of supporting and responding to a range of behaviours in a calm, consistent and positive way.
  • Ideally has experience of working with children with a variety of additional needs.
  • Is able to think on their feet, adapt plans when needed and respond flexibly to the changing needs of children throughout the day.
  • Has experience of delivering interventions and can find creative ways to engage pupils in learning.
  • Sees challenges as opportunities to learn and develop.
  • Is committed to finding ways for every child to access learning, even when the barriers seem significant.
  • Understands that children learn in different ways and is willing to try new approaches to help them succeed.
  • Brings energy, enthusiasm and a sense of fun to the role.
  • Works well as part of a team and is willing to learn from others and share ideas.
