Better Start Inclusion Practitioner - North Halifax Partnership

Base will be one of our Calderdale Family Hubs.
We are looking for 11 practitioners to work between 25-30 hours per week.

We are excited to announce a new opportunity to join our new Better Start Inclusion team as a Better Start Inclusion Practitioner.

We're looking for passionate and dedicated Practitioners to help babies and young children with emerging or identified SEND get the best possible start in life.

Working as part of a multi-agency Family Hub team, you'll support families, deliver targeted interventions, champion inclusive practice, and help identify needs early so children can thrive. You'll work closely with parents, health professionals, early years settings, Schools and community partners to ensure every child receives the right support at the right time.

This role is fixed-term until March 2029.

You will have a strong understanding of child development, inclusion and SEND pathways, and the ability to build trusted relationships with families and professionals. You must hold an approved level 3 qualification in Early Years.

You'll be confident delivering targeted interventions, coaching others in inclusive practice, and working collaboratively across education, health and care services. Most importantly, you'll be warm, empathetic, solution-focused and dedicated to improving outcomes for children and families.
