We currently have full and part-time vacancies within the Business Support Service.
As a Business Support Assistant you will play a key role in delivering high-quality administrative and customer support services across Knowsley Council and partner agencies. Acting as a first point of contact, you will respond to telephone, face-to-face and email enquiries, providing a professional and customer-focused service.
You will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, including maintaining and updating service user records, ensuring information is accurate, secure and up to date.
Depending on the team you support, your duties may also include arranging meetings, managing correspondence, and taking accurate notes. Some roles will involve financial administration responsibilities, such as raising purchase orders, processing invoices in accordance with financial procedures, and booking travel and accommodation.
All roles require excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload whilst meeting deadlines. You will need strong communication and IT skills, attention to detail and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
