Job Description
Casual Museum Assistant | 11165 | Casual Contract | £13.70 per hour | (Grade C) | Ancient House Museum, Thetford
We are looking for flexible, reliable people to join our small pool providing casual cover at Thetford's Ancient House Museum.
You will provide cover for permanent members of the team during periods of annual leave, sickness absence, and on particularly busy days.
Working alongside another member of the museum team, you will help visitors enjoy their experience at Ancient House Museum, as well as assist with ticket sales and the sale of souvenirs in the museum shop.
Additional responsibilities include helping to keep the museum clean and welcoming, setting up tables and chairs for events and school visits, museum security, preparing materials for family activities and crafts, and caring for the museum's small garden, including watering plants.

Salary range
