30 hours per week (Term time only, plus 3 inset days)

Monday to Friday 7am to 1.30pm

Grade 4, SCP 6

Salary 26,847 - 13.92 per hour (pro-rated salary 18,579.02 based on 44.49 weeks)

The Governors are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and experienced Catering Supervisor to join our school catering team.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the catering service and will lead a team of Catering Assistants and an Assistant Chef, ensuring that meals are prepared and served to a high standard.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supporting the catering team, including supervising, directing and training the team. You will also be involved in food preparation and cooking, including special dietary meals, ordering supplies, maintaining high standards of hygiene and health and safety, and overseeing the smooth operation of meal service.

You will need to be reliable, well organised and able to work effectively as part of a team, with a positive approach to working in a busy school environment. Good communication skills and a commitment to safeguarding, food hygiene and providing an excellent service to our pupils are essential.
