About the role and team

Mole Valley District Council is looking for a Part Time Civil Enforcement Officer to join our Parking Team, working 25 hours per week.

As a Civil Enforcement Officer you will enforce the Council's car parks ensuring customers are parked correctly, providing a friendly and courteous service issuing Penalty Charge Notices where needed. You will also check the pay and display machines and ensure the car parks are maintained to a high standard. Patrols are both on foot and mobile.

Mole Valley District Council offers full training and essential uniform items.

What we are looking for from you

You should have good customer service skills and enjoy working with the public, good observation and accuracy abilities, basic computer skills for using a handheld device, be self- motivated and resilient and hold a full UK driving licence.

You should be comfortable working outside in all weathers.

The role operates on a shift basis working 25 hours per week Monday to Saturday. Officers are based in Dorking, Surrey but will need to be willing to travel throughout the district. A company vehicle will be provided when travelling as part of the mobile patrol.
