Job Summary

St Oscar Romero Catholic School are seeking an experienced and detail oriented cleaner for a flexible part time role maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in our school.

Duties

• Perform cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming
• Sanitise and disinfect surfaces to prevent the spread of germs
• Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
• Restock supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the sixth form office.

Requirements

• Experience in commercial cleaning is desirable, although not essential
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
• Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
• Good physical stamina to handle the demands of the job
• Understanding of health and safety regulations related to cleaning operations

• Monday to Friday, working times to be agreed

Salary: £12.65 per hour
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 3.15pm to 6.15pm
Location: Goring by Sea, Worthing, West Sussex
Interviews: Tuesday, 29th September 2026
