Camden is changing on the inside to make life better for everyone. Our residents and communities are at the heart of everything we do. We’re home to the most important conversations happening today and we’re making radical social change a reality, so that nobody gets left behind. Here’s where you can help decide a better future for us all.

    What You’ll Be Doing

To help Camden achieve our aim of providing a clean, safe and pleasant environment for our residents to live in, by providing a comprehensive, professional cleaning service across the accommodation schemes, identifying and reporting health and safety hazards and repairs, and undertaking low level maintenance and repair tasks.

You will provide a planned cleaning programme across our temporary accommodation buildings including health and safety checks and minor repairs to ensure that the units are well maintained, remain safe and health and safety compliant.

Managing a team delivering a customer focused cleaning and caretaking service to homeless households residing in temporary accommodation with a focus on taking all necessary steps to maximise tenancy sustainment and reducing the time properties remain void.

You will be responsible for managing and planning the work schedules for a team of cleaners dispersed across temporary accommodation buildings, ensuring communal and external areas are kept clean and tidy and ensuring all buildings have appropriate staff cover when required.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and will require an Basic DBS.
