Our Team:

Halton Borough Council is looking to employ a Community Care Worker, to work across the Complex Care Runcorn (CCR) and Complex Care Widnes (CCW) teams, although the workers will be based in Municipal Buildings.

The CCR and CCW teams are Adult Social work/care teams, responsible for the Long-Term delivery of person centred support and an asset/strengths based support planning for Adults over the age of 18 years. The focus of the roles will be supporting people who use services who have specific issues relating to the payment of care bills, to ensure that they are able to manage their finances effectively.

Hours: 37 per week

Your Contributions:

Halton Borough council’s expectations are high and you will need a strong commitment to providing first class person centred care to Halton residents over 18 and support to their carers. You will be passionate about working with a range of service user groups (older people, adults with learning disabilities and adults with physical and sensory difficulties, challenging discrimination whilst promoting independence.

You will have a recognised Social Care Experience, within a Care Management team or a social Care setting, good interpersonal and communication skills, a flexible approach and a willingness to continually improve your practice; in addition, you must hold a full driving licence.
