Charnwood Borough Council in Leicestershire is searching for the latest member of the Repairs & Investment Section.

We are looking for a passionate individual who is customer focused, a team player and wants to help improve our local communities in Charnwood.

The Council is recruiting for a Damp, Mould, and Disrepair Co-ordinator – this is a Fixed Term Contract for 14 months.

You will play a lead role in the Damp & Mould Team as well as the Disrepair Team where you will be required to co-ordinate casework, collate information and monitor casework performance. In this role you will be able to demonstrate a high level of organisational skill as well as an ability to disseminate complex information. This will need to be demonstrated within the Councils existing processes and procedures and within the current legislative requirements for both Damp & Mould and Disrepair and will preferably include knowledge of Awaab’s Law and Disrepair Pre-Action Protocol.

With the ability to successfully work in partnership, you will ensure that our customers’ objectives around high quality, communication, and customer care are met. You will also ensure that set team objectives and key performance indicators are met.

The role requires the candidate to create, develop and administer systems and processes to record, track, action, and resolve damp, mould, and disrepair cases. Additionally, the role will require you to provide contract management support as well as responding to any customer queries, concerns, or complaints.
