- Preparing meals and assisting with general kitchen tasks.
- Carrying out household duties including hoovering, cleaning, laundry, ironing, and changing bed linen.
- Supporting with administrative tasks such as making appointments, handling telephone calls, and completing forms.
- Providing transport for weekly food shopping and attending appointments (e.g. hairdresser, dentist, GP).
- Offering general support in maintaining an organised and comfortable home environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Friendly, patient, and supportive in approach
- Flexible to accommodate occasional changes in schedule due to appointments
- Full UK driving licence and access to a suitable vehicle (essential) Must have business insurance.
- Previous care or personal assistant experience is desirable but not essential
About the Role
Personal Assistant is required to support a lady in her mid 40’s living in Wilberfoss.
The role involves providing practical day-to-day support to help this lady maintain her independence and a well-run household.
This lady is a full-time wheelchair user and is able to transfer independently. She has a medical condition which affects balance, coordination, speech, and vision.
The days to be worked are Tuesday to Friday, with some flexibility required for appointments.
