We are looking for a Domestic Assistant to join our team in Adult Social Care. In this entry-level role, you will be responsible for general and deep cleaning tasks across four bungalows on one site. You will play a vital role in ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents.
As a Domestic Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning and Caring: Perform general and deep cleaning tasks, ensuring all areas are tidy and well-presented.
- Health and Safety Hero: Follow Health and Safety regulations, including infection prevention and control measures.
- Emergency Response: Act quickly and effectively in emergency situations, such as bodily fluid spillages.
- Record Keeping: Maintain daily records on our digital platform to ensure accurate documentation.
- Flexible Scheduling: Work on a rota covering seven days a week, including alternate weekends and bank holidays.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A general standard of education.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.
- Understanding of Equal Opportunities and a commitment to Nottinghamshire County Council’s policies.
- Experience in cleaning, either in a domestic or commercial setting is desirable.
- Basic computer literacy to complete records.
