Early Intervention and Prevention Practitioner

Are you passionate about helping children, young people and families overcome challenges and achieve positive outcomes?

As a Family Hub Support Worker in Wakefield’s Best Start Family Hubs, you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering early help support through the Hubs and community settings across Wakefield.

Using a strengths-based, whole-family approach, you will provide targeted support, deliver evidence-based interventions, facilitate group work, contribute to assessments and support plans, and work alongside partner agencies to improve resilience and outcomes. We are looking for someone with experience of working with children and families, excellent communication skills, strong child development knowledge, and a commitment to empowering families to make sustainable, positive changes.
