Effectiveness Coordinator – 12 month fixed-term contract (maternity cover)

We’re seeking a highly motivated Effectiveness Coordinator to join the newly established Continuous Improvement Hub. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering projects that drive continuous improvement and enhance services across the Council.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for planning and delivering projects by developing robust project plans with clear targets and milestones, ensuring effective communication of objectives and progress to stakeholders. The role involves collecting and analysing data to support project evaluations and producing detailed reports. You will facilitate meetings and stakeholder engagement activities, while proactively identifying and escalating any issues or barriers to ensure timely resolution and successful project delivery.

About the Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project coordination and delivery, working effectively with multiple agencies and stakeholders. Strong analytical abilities and excellent organisational and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management systems, coupled with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure, is required. Desirable attributes include degree-level education or a project management qualification (such as PRINCE2) and experience within adult or children’s services.
