    About Camden
Camden is changing on the inside to make life better for everyone. Our residents and communities are at the heart of everything we do. We’re home to the most important conversations happening today and we’re making radical social change a reality, so that nobody gets left behind. Here’s where you can help decide a better future for us all.

Camden has big ambitions for the future of Euston and now is a critical time to work to make our vision a reality, getting the best from the delivery of HS2 into Euston for our residents and communities and grasping the potential to grow Camden’s internationally important Knowledge Quarter.

    What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll play a key role in shaping the future of Euston — Camden’s largest regeneration project. Leading on complex and high-profile planning applications, you’ll coordinate development around and above Euston and HS2 stations, ensuring it aligns with the Euston Area Plan. Working closely with colleagues across planning and regeneration teams, you’ll help drive high-quality outcomes for the borough. You’ll manage planners up to Principal level, mentor staff across the service, and act as a strategic lead and expert advisor on planning matters.

    All About You
You’ll bring a strong understanding of planning in a complex urban setting, with experience working on major regeneration and transport-related projects. You’re confident managing planning applications, navigating legislation, and securing high-quality, community-focused outcomes through effective negotiation and legal agreements.

You’re a clear communicator who can build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders — from residents and councillors to senior officers. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, sometimes uncertain environment, using your problem-solving skills and leadership experience to support teams and help deliver the Euston Area Plan.
