Our Team:

Join Halton Borough Council’s Care Homes as a General Assistant at Oakmeadow Care Home and help create a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for our residents.

In this rewarding role, you will support the smooth day-to-day running of the home by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, assisting with meal preparation and laundry duties, and providing support with simple personal care tasks to promote residents’ independence and dignity.

You’ll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team committed to delivering high-quality care and upholding the Council’s values in everything we do.

If you are reliable, caring, and flexible — including being able to work weekends and additional shifts when required — we would love to hear from you.


Hours: 1x 15 hours per week 1x 17.5 hours per week


Your Contributions:

  • Experience in domestic or housekeeping work

  • Good awareness of health and safety practices

  • Strong communication skills
