Ealing Council have an exciting new opportunity as Home Ownership Officer (Sales & Alterations) available as a full-time role.

Home Ownership Services is responsible for managing nearly 5,000 leasehold properties across Ealing.

Our Home Ownership Team are responsible for the management of the Right to Buy Scheme, new build/shared ownership sales & staircasing, lease extensions, enfranchisement, alterations to leasehold properties, deeds of variation and home information packs.

The Home Ownership Officer (Sales & Alterations) role:

We are looking for a self-motivated customer focused officer, who is self-motivated and will take responsibility for delivering a quality service that achieves high levels of customer satisfaction. You will be working with our colleagues across Housing, the Council, and the Leaseholder Resident Association to ensure that we offer and provide our residents with an excellent home ownership and leasehold management service.

As the Home Ownership Officer (Sales & Alterations) you will be responsible for processing Right to Buy (RTB) applications through to completion in accordance with the procedures and to communicate effectively with customers over their eligibility and the status of their application and have a knowledge of key RTB legislation.

Our ideal Home Ownership Officer (Sales & Alterations) will have the below skills and experience:

Experience of dealing with all aspects of Leasehold services i.e. staircasing, shared ownership resales, lease extensions, sub-letting, and pre-sale enquiries and be used to being a part of a dynamic busy service within a housing environment.

You will be able to manage conflicting priorities within deadlines with excellent organisational and IT skills and demonstrate your ability to maintain focus whilst working under pressure to deadlines and delivering good customer service.
