About the Role:

As one of the London’s largest and most ambitious regeneration initiatives, Meridian Water is delivering transformational change, creating thousands of new homes, new jobs and new infrastructure over a 25‑year programme.
To support this, Enfield Council has secured a £195m Housing Infrastructure Fund (HIF) grant, and we are now seeking an exceptional HIF CLient Project Manager to play a key role in the delivery of the Housing Infrastructure Fund (HIF) Programme.
Working as part of a dynamic and collaborative team, the HIF Client Project Manager will lead the day‑to‑day delivery of HIF-funded infrastructure project. You will coordinate multidisciplinary inputs, manage consultants and contractors, ensure compliance with governance and funding requirements, and maintain robust project plans, risks and reporting.
This role requires excellent project management capability, strong organisational skills and the ability to work confidently with technical specialists, contractors, residents and partners. You will understand how infrastructure projects evolve through design and delivery, and you will know how to manage risks, anticipate issues and provide clear recommendations for decisions and approvals.
We operate at pace and pride ourselves on high-quality delivery. We’re looking for someone who is motivated, proactive and enthusiastic — someone who wants to help shape one of the UK’s most significant regeneration projects and build experience on major capital infrastructure delivery.
If you’re ready to be part of a major London regeneration programme and want to help deliver lasting change for our communities, we look forward to hearing from you.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead day‑to‑day client‑side delivery of assigned HIF infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with programme objectives, governance standards and funding requirements.
- Manage project initiation and delivery controls, including plans, schedules, risks, issues, dependencies, Work Orders and mobilisation of resources.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary technical inputs (design, planning, engineering, legal, finance, highways) and maintain accurate project documentation.
- Oversee project‑level financial management, including forecasting, monitoring, cost control and compliance with procurement and audit requirements.
- Lead project‑level stakeholder engagement and escalate risks, issues and change requests to the Programme Manager with recommendations for decision.
About you:
We’re looking for a proactive and highly organised project manager who can deliver complex infrastructure projects in a fast‑paced regeneration environment. You will be someone who brings strong coordination skills, a collaborative mindset and the confidence to manage multiple technical workstreams while ensuring high‑quality delivery.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience managing complex capital or infrastructure projects through all stages of the project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, delivery and closure.
- Strong ability to coordinate and integrate multidisciplinary technical inputs, including design, engineering, planning, legal, highways and finance, to support successful project delivery.
- Experience managing consultants and contractors on behalf of the client, monitoring performance, assuring quality and ensuring compliance with contractual, governance and funding requirements.
Please note interviews are due to take place week commencing 30th March 2026.
