Folkestone & Hythe District Council is looking for an experienced professional to join our Council Tax, Benefits & Welfare teams. If you’re seeking a part-time management role where your expertise makes a real difference, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Role
You’ll lead a team responsible for delivering accurate Council Tax administration, Housing Benefit and Council Tax Reduction processing, and excellent customer service. The role involves managing workloads, supporting complex cases, guiding staff, monitoring service performance and helping to improve ways of working across the service.
What You’ll Bring
• Strong knowledge of Council Tax and/or Benefits legislation
• Several years’ experience in a Revenues/Benefits environment
• Excellent analytical, communication and customer service skills
• Confidence leading staff and managing competing demands
The closing date for the Receipt of completed applications is midnight on 25th February 2026.

Salary range
- £37,204 - £42,285 per year
