The children, staff and governors of our school wish to appoint a Midday Assistant to work as part of our highly experienced team. Ganneys Meadow is a highly inclusive school and is well respected within the local community and beyond.

We are looking to recruit a Midday Assistant, who has very high standards, to help to ensure that our children have a happy and safe environment when eating their lunch in the hall. The role involves encouraging and supporting our children to eat their lunches. This is a lovely time to support the development of their speech and language skills, modelling conversations and helping them to develop their social skills and table manners. Our teaching assistants work alongside our lunchtime staff to support the children, it really is a team approach.

Ganneys Meadow School and Family Hub is a large school set in extensive landscaped grounds with a meadow, woodland and an orchard, it really is a truly magical place for children to learn. We are a highly inclusive 'Outstanding' maintained local authority nursery school with qualified teachers and highly experienced teaching assistants leading learning. We also offer extended hours through our wraparound care.

As our school continues to grow, we are looking to expand our team as we continue our journey. We aim to make every child's experience at Ganneys happy, exciting and full of playful discovery. Our school is a happy place to work, where all staff feel valued, appreciated and part of our team.
The contracted hours will be 10 and will be over the lunchtime period from 11:00 - 1:00pm each day
