PERSONAL ASSISTANTS REQUIRED

Scunthorpe Area

£13.71 per hour

About the Role

We are looking for friendly, energetic and reliable Personal Assistants to support a young individual in the Scunthorpe area. Support will be provided on a 2:1 basis, helping the individual to enjoy activities, access the community and maintain a consistent routine.

About the Individual

The individual has a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), is verbal and has an energetic and cheeky personality. They enjoy football, board games, being outside, Lego and cooking. Routine and consistency are important to them.

What Support Will You Provide?

The role will involve engaging in the individual's interests and activities, providing support in the community and helping to maintain a consistent and reassuring routine. There is no personal care required as part of this role.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who is patient, understanding, reliable and able to build a positive relationship with the individual. There are some behavioural needs which can at times be challenging, so applicants should be confident in providing calm, consistent support and maintaining appropriate boundaries.

Additional Information

• 6 hours per week during term time

• 9 hours per week during school holidays

• Support is provided on a 2:1 basis

• Rate of pay: £13.71 per hour

• No preference regarding the gender of the Personal Assistant
