Due to retirement we are looking for an experienced, motivated benefits manager who is able to work across all aspects of the service which includes Housing Benefits, Council Tax Reduction, Welfare and Free School Meals.
The post holder will report directly to the Benefits Service Manager and will have direct involvement in procedural and management issues across the service, including performance and recruitment.
Essential to this role is current experience of working in Revenues & Benefits with a detailed and in depth knowledge and understanding of data input systems relevant to Exchequer Services; Northgate (NEC)/Enterprise along with extensive technical knowledge of Benefits legislation and practice.
The Benefits Service is part of Exchequer Services and are situated in Municipal Buildings, Huyton. The Team works flexibly between 7am and 7pm with a combination of office based and home working. Currently office attendance is one day a week, however the post holder will be expected to attend on further days as and when required.

Salary range
- £51,356 - £52,413 per year
